Congratulations to all schools who had a team or individual qualify for the 2014 Ebonite/KHSAA State Bowling Tournaments.

There will be open lanes available for practice at Collins Eastland after 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday night for $1.50 per lane.

Teams and coaches will enter at the team check in/pass gate (far right hand entrance when facing the center from the street).  ALL COACHES and TEAMS must enter at this gate.

On Thursday (singles day) the competitors and coaches will be checked in and enter the facility first, beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The coach will receive a packet with the wristbands for participants and coaches.  This will be a per player allotment. (Example – school A has two competitors, then team A will be allowed two coaches’ wristbands).  Coaches must be listed as a coach on the school page of the website and have all of the coaching requirements completed.

Any member of the team competing in the team competition the next day will be allowed free entry, but they may have to wait until 9:30 a.m. for admission.  Please be patient with this process. The gate will open to fans at 9:15 a.m.

On Friday (team competition day) the boys’ teams will be admitted first as they are first to compete. The coach will receive a packet with 12 wristbands for participants and two wristbands for coaches per team.  Additional coaches, if listed on the school’s page as a coach and having met all of the coaching requirements under Bylaw 23, will be admitted for free, but will not have access to the pit area.

Admission for fans – $10 each day with 10-and-under admitted free. Fans may also purchase a two-day pass on Thursday for $15.

No outside food or beverages will be allowed in.  Collins Eastland will be providing two concession areas throughout the tournament.

There will be a room (the playroom) for overnight ball storage.

If there are students who are not participating in the tournament, but would like to volunteer as score runners, please contact me at apassafiume@khsaa.org. A volunteer t-shirt will be provided and they should check in at the team entrance.

Schools have asked for prices from the TeamIP vendor.  Taxes will also be charged unless a school is purchasing for a team and can provide a tax exempt form.
