FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 6, 2025:

In light of the imminent, inclement weather conditions in the forecast for Tuesday, the first round of the KHSAA Leachman Buick GMC girls’ state golf tournament will be adjusted to begin with an 8 a.m. (CDT) shotgun start at Bowling Green CC.

Tee sheets will be revised and updated in GolfGenius as soon as possible. Time allotments for range times will follow for all players. Please note, players will be limited to 7-8 minutes of warm-up time on the range. As a reminder, 90 players will be warming up, so please be mindful and courteous to all players.

Announcements will begin on the back lawn at 7:50 a.m. CDT sharp. PLEASE ensure that all players and coaches are present. Please plan to pick up your player information packet (scorecards & notices) at the KHSAA tent in the outside pavilion area. Coaches, officials and any ADA carts will be permitted to take players to their starting holes AFTER announcements.

Any decisions regarding the second round (format, schedule, etc.) will depend on the progress made in the first round. It is the intention of all involved, at this time, to complete the tournament on Wednesday, following two complete rounds of play.
