Thank you for committing to work the 2025 Boys and Girls Lacrosse State Tournaments, presented by UK HealthCare. Below, you’ll find a list of your assigned duties and reporting times (all times are listed in Eastern Time).

CHECK-IN
Collins – The check-in tent will be located at the back entrance near the field house (see map).

Shelby – The check-in tent will be located on the corner of the field house near the main parking lot.

 

PARKING
Collins – All workers will park in the small parking lot located behind the stadium, next to the field house.

MEALS 

All workers will be provided meal tickets that can be used at the concession stands at both sites.

 

WORKERS ASSIGNMENTS at COLLINS HIGH SCHOOLMay 19th and 21st 

  • Ticket Gate: John Campbell (MON/Wed), Bruce Lynch (WED), Rick Bridges (WED) & Kathy Johnston (MON)
      • Arrival time – 3:15
        • School gets out 3:15 and there will be a lot of traffic. Feel free to come earlier to avoid car lines.
      • All tickets are on mobile devices through GoFan.
      • No-rentry and No wristbands
      • There will be 2-3 box office units available. You all will work together with Sarah Bridenbaugh and Rob Catron to redeem and sell.
      • Sarah will be your contact for questions at the main gate
      • No athletes or coaches should come through your gate. There will be a separate entrance for teams at the opposite end of the field near the field house.
    • Team/ Worker/ Officials/ Media Check-in Gate: Jeanie Molloy (MON/WED) & Sara McClain (WED), Jeremy Ison (MON)
      • Teams will be dropped off behind the field house and should check in with you before being directed to their locker room.
      • Workers will park in the small parking lot and check in at the back entrance.
      • Workers – give event staff badge if needed
    • Team Attendants: Glenn Spalding (MON/WED), Bruce Lynch (MON) & Donna Bumps (WED)
    • Arrive by 3:00
      • Make sure to plan for traffic as school gets out 3:15.
      • Teams will drop off and check in at the back of the field near the field house. 
      • Each team will be assigned a locker room in the field house.
      • Assist with trophy presentations and all all-tournament team
    • Public Address Announcer: Matt Simons (MON/WED)
    • Arrive by 4:00
      • PA scripts will be provided for you.
      • Connor Link from our office will be in the press box to assist you as well.
      • A spotter will sit between you and the stat crew to assist with signal calls from the field.
      • A press box coordinator will be available to assist with communication from the press box to the field.
  • Clock Operator: Chris Land
    • Arrive by 4:00
  • Press Box Coordinator: Gabriel Embry (MON/WED)
    • Arrive by 4:00
      • Assist with communication from the press box to the field.
      • Keep PA and clock operator on schedule
      • Assist with awards
  • Parking Attendant: Jimmy Powell (MON) & Jeff Marksberry (WED)
    • Arrive by 3:00
      • All teams will drop off behind the field near the field house. 
      • Buses should be directed to park on the road directly behind the field house.
      • Assist with getting buses turned around and parked after drop off.
      • Monitor the small lot and make sure only workers/ officials are parking there.
  • Officials Coordinator: David Seewer (MON/WED) & Caleb Morrison (WED)
    • Arrive by 3:30
      • Assist officials on and off the field from the locker rooms
      • On field during the game to coordinate any communication between the field and the pressbox
  • Stat Crew, Spotters & Video Board: John Spugnardi (MON/WED), Aly Mohn (WED), Claude Sutherland (MON)
  • Arrive by 4:00

 

WORKERS ASSIGNMENTS at SHELBY COUNTYMay 19th

  • Ticket Gate: Rick Bridges, Marsha Day, Bobby Day
  • Arrival time – 3:15
        • School gets out 3:15 and there will be a lot of traffic. Feel free to come earlier to avoid car lines.
      • All tickets are on mobile devices through GoFan.
      • No-rentry and No wristbands
      • There will be 2-3 box office units available. The 5 of you (with Butch Cope and Kara Howard) will work together to redeem and sell.
      • Kara will be your contact for questions at the main gate
      • No athletes or coaches should come through your gate. There will be a separate entrance for teams located at the corner of the field house before they get to the main gate.
    • Team/ Worker/ Officials Check-in Gate: Sara McClain & Lucy Moore
    • Arrive by 3:00
      • The team check-in will be located behind the field house 
      • Workers – give event staff a badge if needed
      • You will have a laptop to use to check off teams, officials and workers as they arrive
    • Team Attendants: Donna Bumps & Debbie Beichler
    • Arrive by 3:00
      • Make sure to plan for traffic as school gets out 3:15.
      • Teams will drop off and check in at the back corner of the fieldhouse. 
      • Each team will be assigned a locker room in the field house.
      • Assist with trophy presentations and all all-tournament team
    • Public Address Announcer: David Dawson
    • Arrive by 4:00
      • PA scripts will be provided for you.
      • Jenny Elder from our office will be in the press box to assist you as well.
      • A spotter will sit between you and the stat crew to assist with signal calls from the field.
      • A press box coordinator will be available to assist with communication from the press box to the field.
  • Clock Operator: Jason Brangers
    • Arrive by 4:00
  • Press Box Coordinator: Rebecca Brangers
    • Arrive by 4:00
      • Assist with communication from the press box to the field.
      • Keep PA and clock operator on schedule
      • Assist with awards
  • Parking Attendant: Jeff Marksberry
    • Arrive by 3:00
      • Buses will need to be directed to drop off at the corner of the field house as they pull into the parking lot.
      • After drop off, send buses up to their designated parking lot (shown on map) located past the main parking lot on the hill.
      • Assist buses with pick up following the game
  • Officials Coordinator: Caleb Morrison 
    • Arrive by 3:30
      • Assist officials on and off the field from locker rooms
      • On the field during games to coordinate any communication between the field and the press box
  • Stat Crew & Spotters: Lara Russell & 
  • Arrive by 4:00

 

KHSAA STAFF

  • Monday 5/19 – Leave office around 9:30 – Navy shirt
  • Wednesday 5/21 – Leave office around 11:00 – Black shirt
