Congratulations to all teams advancing to the State Finals. The KHSAA would like to thank the State First Round host schools, workers & officials for all of their hard work this past weekend. The results for all sites of the 2026 KHSAA State First Round Swimming Meets, as well as the Psych Sheet for the 2026 KHSAA State Finals Swimming & Diving Championships Presented by UK HealthCare, are posted on the KHSAA website. 

STATE SWIMMING & DIVING QUALIFIERS

STATE MEET DETAILS & PARTICIPATING TEAMS CONFERENCE CALL

• Participating coaches are invited to join the KHSAA in a conference call covering details for the state championships that will take place on Tuesday, February 17th at 3:00 PM (ET).
• Details about joining these calls will be sent to participating coaches/athletic directors.

• State Swimming and Diving will take place on February 20-21 at the University of Kentucky’s Lancaster Aquatic Center.
  • The Boys’ Swim Meet will be on February 20th, with prelims in the morning and the finals that evening.
  • The Girls’ Meet will be on February 21st, with prelims in the morning and the finals that evening.
  • Diving will take place between swimming prelims and finals each day.
  • Boys will dive on February 20th, and Girls will dive on February 21st.
  • Points accumulated in the Diving Meets will accrue and carry forward to the Swimming state meet team totals.

STATE MEET WITHDRAWALS

• Any athlete withdrawals for swimming or diving events (removal from the entire meet) must be received by Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 5 pm (ET). These withdrawals must be submitted via form: State Swimming & Diving Athlete Withdrawal Form

DIVING STATE ENTRY FOR QUALIFIERS

• The state meet has been posted on divemeets.com and all state diving participants must log in and enter the State Meet.
• This must be completed by 5:00 pm (ET) on Tuesday, Feb. 17 or the diver will be scratched.
• The final list of dives must be submitted no later than one (1) hour before the competition is to begin on site.
• State six dive format: One voluntary dive of the diver’s choice with a maximum degree of difficulty of 1.8, followed by five optional dives, coming from at least four of the five groups, and which may include any of the dives other than the voluntary dive.
• The 16 highest-scoring finishers from the preliminary state event will move on to the state finals and perform six additional dives.
• Divers will be permitted to change dives, not dive order, for the finals so long as all sheet requirements are met.
• Divers will have approximately 30 minutes between prelims and finals to submit final dives, followed by a 30-minute warmup period.
• Scores from the preliminaries and finals will be combined to form a cumulative total.

• Please be advised, that this does not include any taxes and/or fees.
• Each school is responsible for securing lodging arrangements if desired.
• Schools are responsible for all travel expenses, including lodging, for participation in the event.

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth.
