Thank you for agreeing to work at the 2025 Clark’s Pump-N-Shop State Baseball Tournament, presented by UK HealthCare.  We are excited to stage the event at Kentucky Proud Park on the UK Campus.  Below are details that should assist you.

Dates: June 5-7 and 13-14
Site: Kentucky Proud Park
Address: 510 Wildcat Ct., Lexington
Parking: Upon turning onto Wildcat Court off of College Way, turn to your right to park in the purple lot.  
Check-In: Please check in at the Media/Team Check-Gate, which is located on the third base side of the stadium and marked by UK signs “VIP Entrance”.
Arrival Time: June 5-7, 8 a.m.; June 13, 2 p.m.; June 14, 5 p.m.

Staffing Assignments/Responsibilities:
Pass-Gate – Jeanie Molloy, Marilyn Mitchell (June 5-6; June 13), Jessica Fisk (June 7)

  • Check-in Staff, Teams, Vendors, Board, Media, Umpires
  • Disseminate Workers/Media Gift
  • Disseminate Media Vests-Log Vest Number for tracking and return.
  • Disseminate Team Party Passes for Teams – 21 players in uniform admitted, 15 team party passes (to be used by any non-uniformed individuals: head coach, assistant, trainer/managers, school administrators).
  • Comp Admissions – Accepting KHSAA Commonwealth Card, BOC Badge.  No coaches or officials’ cards.
  • Provide gate count for attendance (counting comps, media, workers).  No need to count teams/team parties, as that is built into the attendance figure.
  • Meal Ticket distribution

Ticket Gate – Bruce Lynch (all days); Colleen Robertson (June 6-7, 13-14), Donna Bumps (June 5-7), Caleb Morrison (June 5-6, 13-14), Casey Fisk (June 7, 14)

  • Box Office Credit Card Walk-up Sales
  • Armband All-Day Ticket Patrons
  • Assist UK Staff with Ticket Validation

Umpires Staff Liaisons – Andy Strain, Keith Morgan, Brent Bradley

  • Manages the Umpires Lockerroom for the Crew
  • Assist with entering and exiting crews

Team Attendants – Frank McGowan, Jimmy Powell, Fred Brown, Ken Craig

  • Assist with getting teams to the proper dugout (the top team in the bracket is home and uses the 3B Dugout)
  • Review timeline with coaches (infield, anthem protocols per grid)
  • Assist with securing postgame recognitions (All-tourney, MVP, etc.)
  • Monitoring of the dugout.  Only 30 total in the dugout.  Only 21 can be in uniform and participate in on-field warm-ups, etc.
  • Monitoring of media in camera wells (not in the dugout)
  • Monitor the dugout for any damage
  • Assist with the Media vest return
  • Assist with ticket validation as needed

Press Box – KHSAA Administrative Staff: Abby Jackson; PA: David Dawson; Press Box Attendant/Director:  Andre Foushee; Media: Connor Link

  • Work with Prepspin (William Warfield) with the streaming crew
  • Work with TPG staff in coordination of promotions per the provided grid/scripts
  • Work with UK staff on playing of music, videos, and scoreboard operation
  • Media Work Area Attendant monitors the media work area.
  • Assist with vest return

Miscellaneous
Each worker will receive a meal ticket good for use at the concession stand.  Please dress comfortably, and if you have one, bring your KHSAA-issued event badge.  If you do not have the season-long badge, see the KHSAA Staff at the team/media/worker check-in gate.
