REGIONAL BOWLING

Regional bowling will take place from January 19 to February 3. The KHSAA State Bowling Tournament is scheduled for February 9–11 at Kingpin Lanes in Jeffersontown.

Regional manager information can be found here, and Regional Tournament Instructions will be posted on the website. Additional details regarding the postseason entry process will be distributed later this week.

REGION OIL PATTERNS:

Singles – Stone Street

ENTRY FOR REGIONALS

  • For the boys’ and girls’ team competitions, schools may enter a maximum of ten (10) bowlers on the entry form (per team) from the participants on the school’s postseason roster. 
  • Each school can also enter a maximum of 4 boys and 4 girls for the singles competition.
  • Each school can also enter up to 8 Unified Pairs and 4 Adapted bowlers.
  • The KHSAA also wanted to clarify that any unified/adapted students who are eligible under KHSAA Bylaws that are applicable to sport-activities are also eligible to enter the KHSAA postseason for the team and/or singles events.
  • Note that the following bylaws do not apply to the sport-activities, including (3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 19, 20, and 22)
  • Athletic Directors and Coaches will be sent a separate notification when entry forms are open and accepting entries, as well as the relevant provisions available for substitution.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth.
