The Kentucky High School Athletic Association shall sponsor postseason competition in swimming and diving, provided that there is sufficient interest of the membership and such is approved by the Board of Control.
The Commissioner shall divide the state into geographic sections, subject to the approval of the Board of Control. The alignment shall be reviewed for changes as needed due to significant changes in participation population. In the interim, newly added or deleted programs will be handled on a case by case basis by the Commissioner’s office.

As of January 1, 2025, the alignment is as follows (with manual notations to be made during the transition to the KHSAA360/ArbiterSports system):
