10/06/26 – Round One Complete at 2026 Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac/KHSAA Boys’ State Golf Championships

The opening round of the 2026 Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac boys’ golf state tournament concludes with Lexington Christian Academy’s Luke Ebel as the clubhouse leader for the individual championship. Ebel shoots a 5-under 67 with Luke Elliott (Christian Academy-Louisville) and Waylon Clutts (Hazard) just two shots back with a 3-under 69.

St. Xavier, in search of their 23rd state team title, has the lead and holds a 5-shot lead after day one.  The Tigers are 1-under with Christian Academy-Louisville at +4 and George Rogers Clark +8.

Here are the individual and team leaderboards heading into Wednesday’s final round.

Final round begins Wednesday morning at Bowling Green Country Club.

Tickets to the events are available for purchase online (https://gofan.co/app/school/KHSAA), with a discounted $13 advance ticket (including fees) available prior to the day of each round. For those who wait to purchase on the day of the competition, only the $15 Game Day ticket will be available. Tickets to the event are only available online. There will be no cash sales at Bowling Green Country Club.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth.
