02/24/24 – State Indoor Track & Field Worker Instructions

Thank you for agreeing to work the 2024 Inaugural State Track & Field Championships presented by UK HealthCare. Below is the list of your duties and explanations of reporting times (all times Eastern Time zone).

EVENT DETAILS

• Dates: March 2-3
• Location: Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center
• 3029 W Muhammad Ali Blvd., Louisville

CHECK-IN
Worker check-in is at the side entrance where the athletes/coaches enter (map attached). Please be sure to dress warm if you are at a check-in gate. Staff at check-in will have an event staff badge for you to wear if you don’t already have one.

PARKING

• Parking – https://khsaa.org/track/2024/indoor/parkingmap.pdf
• Workers will be on a parking pass list to park in Lot B. You will enter through the security door for check-in.

MEALS 

• A box lunch will be provided on Saturday only between sessions.

• Ticket Gate: Rick Bridges, Ken Craig, Rachel Angolia, Lauren Morgan  
  • Arrival time, Saturday (Mar 2) – 7:00 AM

• Worker/Official/Pass Gate Check-in: Mary Alice Greenamyer (BOTH), Barb Kok (SAT), Donna Tackett (SUN) 
  • Arrival time, Saturday (Mar 2) – 6:30 AM
  • Arrival time, Sunday (Mar 3) – 11:30 AM
  • We will have an electronic list on a laptop for you to use when people check-in.
  • Officials get a gift (should have polos).
  • Workers get a KHSAA Event Staff badge, if needed, and gift.
  • Media members will get a yellow media vest.
