The Kentucky High School Athletic Association has added a new corporate partner, with Top Seed Tennis Club signing on to become the title sponsor of the State Tennis Championships. Located at 777 E. Brannon Road in Nicholasville, Top Seed Tennis Club (https://www.topseedtennis.net/) opened in 2018 and features 21 hard courts surfaced with DecoTurf® (12 indoor and nine outdoor).

“We are beyond thrilled and proud to place the Top Seed Tennis Club name and brand alongside the KHSAA State Tennis Championships,” said general manager Jon Sanders. “Top Seed Tennis Club is a facility built for tournaments like this and for the growth of the game of tennis and development of young players. We are looking forward to a fantastic tournament and the development of all players involved.”

“We are grateful to have Jon and his team and this gorgeous new facility on board for this championship,” said KHSAA Commissioner Julian Tackett. “The resources and expertise they bring to the table will continue to enhance this great event and the participation experience for the participants. Combining Top Seed with our long-standing partnership with UK as a host affords these students a first class experience.”

Top Seed Tennis Club will host first and second round matches of the girls’ singles and doubles competition on Thursday, May 30 and will be used as an alternate site for other rounds should weather issues arise. The first round matches for the boys’ singles and doubles competition on May 30 will be played at the UK Boone/Downing Tennis Complex. All matches on Friday (May 31) and Saturday (June 1) of the 2019 Top Seed Tennis Club/KHSAA State Tennis Championships will be played at the University of Kentucky.
