The 2024 UK HealthCare Sports Medicine Football State Finals will kick off this weekend with all six championship games at Kroger Field on the University of Kentucky campus in Lexington.

Competition gets underway on Friday with the Class 1A final at noon ET, featuring undefeated Sayre (14-0) vs. back-to-back state runner-up Raceland (10-4) in a matchup of two teams seeking their first-ever state title.

The Friday slate continues with the Class 2A final at 4 p.m., featuring undefeated Owensboro Catholic (14-0) for the second year in a row vs. 17-time state champion Beechwood (13-1).

Friday night will conclude with the Class 4A final in an undefeated matchup at 8 p.m., featuring Franklin County (13-0) vs. Paducah Tilghman (14-0). The Flyers are competing in their second state final over the last five years, while the Blue Tornado are seeking their first championship trophy since 2009.

The Class 3A final will kick off Saturday at noon with back-to-back reigning state champion Christian Academy-Louisville (11-3) vs. Union County (12-2). The Centurions hope to improve to 5-0 all-time in the state finals, while the Braves are making their first appearance in school history.

On Saturday at 4 p.m., the Class 6A final will feature Ryle (12-2) vs. 28-time state champion Trinity (Louisville) (12-2) in a rematch of the Raiders’ first-ever championship game appearance in 2006.

The event will come to a close with the Class 5A final on Saturday at 8 p.m., which is set to feature the same teams as last year’s season finale. Undefeated Cooper (14-0) is seeking its first state title vs. eight-time champion Bowling Green (12-2) in the Purples’ third consecutive appearance in the state finals.

Tickets for each game are available online only at khsaatickets.org. All six games will be broadcast live on khsaa.tv to subscribers of the NFHS Network, with free audio-only streams available on khsaa.net.
