02/09/16 – Softball Umpires Camp Registration Now Open

Registration for the 2016 KHSAA Softball Umpires Advanced Camp is now open. This camp must be attended once every four years to be eligible for assignment to umpire region or state tournaments.

Camp Fee 

$46.00 early registration before February  26.  
$71.00 late registration after February 27 until March 3.

Tentative Topics & Agenda (Times are ET)

8:00-8:30 a.m. – Registration
8:30-9:00 a.m. – Welcome, Introductions, Review Agenda
9:00-9:15 a.m. – KHSAA Assistant Commissioner Darren Bilberry
9:15-12:00 p.m. – Classroom Instruction
12:00-1:00 p.m. – Lunch on your own
1:15-2:15 p.m. – Plate Work
2:30 – 3:30 p.m. – Base Work
3:30-4:30 p.m. – 3 person mechanics / Q&A

You will need to bring all your plate gear. Everyone attending camp is required to be in approved KHSAA Umpire’s uniform.

Please be reminded that attending this camp does not replace the mandatory Online Rules Clinic required of all licensed officials.
