The mandatory online KHSAA Rules Clinic for the sport of Golf is available through the KHSAA School Log-in Page. The clinic is required of all coaches (varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen), regardless of whether or not the coach receives pay.

To access the clinic, go to https://schools.khsaa.org/ and — under the section entitled Rules Clinics — click on the link that says “View Online Rules Clinics“.

Below is additional information:

  • July 24 to August 17 – the Golf Clinic may be viewed at no charge during this period.
  • August 18 to September 1 – the Golf Clinic may be viewed for the makeup fee ($100) during this period.
  • September 2 to September 16 – the Golf Clinic may be viewed for the makeup fee ($200) per the Bylaw 27 schedule during this period. After this time, postseason penalties per Bylaw 27 will apply.

The presentation can be viewed on most PC or Mac desktops and laptops, along with many HTML5 enabled mobile devices and tablets (to view system requirements click on the Resources tab from within the clinic once the clinic has started).

You do not have to start and finish the module in one session.  You can exit the module at any time by clicking on the “Exit Module” link on the screen, or by simply closing the browser tab.  When you return to the clinic, you will be asked if you want to resume or not.

NOTE: Even though you don’t have to watch in one sitting, you cannot simply leave the module running with a slide displayed when you are away for an extended period of time as you run the risk of not receiving credit.

There is no certificate for online rules clinics. Your athletic director will have full visibility of whether or not you have started and finished a module.

The slides must be advanced one at a time, manually using the player controls.  At any time you can go back to review slides you have already viewed, but you can never skip slides you have not viewed.

You will be presented with a few questions throughout that must be answered before you can proceed.

Each person that views the clinic must be logged into their account in order to get credit. If taken using anyone else’s e-mail address other than your own (including your administrator’s), you will have to re-take the clinic.
