08/05/24 – Field Hockey Online Rules Clinic Now Available

The mandatory online KHSAA Rules Clinic for the sport of Field Hockey is available through your Arbitersports Eligibility Dashboard.

The clinic is required of all officials and coaches (varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen), regardless of whether or not the coach receives pay.

Deadlines for Coaches:

• July 31 to September 23 – the Field Hockey Clinic may be viewed at no charge during this period.
• September 24 to October 1 – the Field Hockey Clinic may be viewed for the makeup fee ($100) during this period.
• October 2 to October 16 – the Field Hockey Clinic may be viewed for the makeup fee ($200) per the Bylaw 27 schedule during this period. After this time, postseason penalties per Bylaw 27 will apply.

Officials’ Instructions for Clinics:

• As Rules Clinics are a condition of postseason eligibility, in the top black bar on the main page for khsaa.arbitersports.com, select ELIGIBILITY.
• Select that you want the 2024-25 Field Hockey Postseason Eligibility by clicking on 24-25 Postseason.
• You will see a Blue Hyperlink that says Take Online Clinic.
• Go through the clinic following the instructions including any required questions.
• Please note it may take as long as 24 hours before your score is posted.

Deadlines for Officials:

• July 31 to September 16 – the Field Hockey Clinic may be viewed at no charge during this period.
• September 17 to September 24 – the Field Hockey Clinic may be viewed for the makeup fee ($30) during this period.
• September 25 to October 9 – the Field Hockey Clinic may be viewed for the makeup fee ($60) during this period.

The presentation can be viewed on most PC or Mac desktops and laptops, along with many HTML5-enabled mobile devices and tablets. Please test your browser for compatibility by running the test at the following link:

You will be required to advance each slide. Once you advance to the last slide of the presentation, will receive credit for the clinic and receive a completion certificate via email.

You do not have to view the clinic in its entirety in one setting. You can exit and resume at any time. When you return, simply click or tap on the Play Icon to resume.

Each person who views the clinic must be logged into their account in order to receive credit. If taken using anyone else’s e-mail address other than your own (including your administrator’s), you will have to re-take the clinic.
