4/10/2018 – Nominations Sought for Midway University Female Student-Athlete of the Year – Bass Fishing

The KHSAA is excited to open the nomination process for the Midway University/KHSAA Female Student-Athlete of the Year among female Bass Fishing participants for 2017-2018.

This award is based on athletic and academic achievement as well as community service and leadership. The link to the application contains additional criteria and a form to nominate one female participant from each 2017-2018 team. Nominations must come from a member school, but may be submitted by an administrator, guidance counselor, or coach. Nominations may only be submitted online at http://khsaa.org/ge79-midway-universitykhsaa-female-student-athlete-of-the-year-nomination-form/

The winner, if present, will be recognized at the 2018 KHSAA Bass Fishing State Championship at Kentucky Lake on Saturday, May 12. In case the winner does not qualify for the state tournament, representatives from Midway University will present the award at the recipient’s high school at a mutually determined later date.

The deadline for nominations for the Midway University/KHSAA Female Student-Athlete of the Year in the sport activity of Bass Fishing is Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
