2025-2026 Coaching Eligibility is now available. Many schools have hired new coaches for the 25-26 school year and have correctly added them to the 25-26 roster on your Resources > Team pages.

First, for Coaches:

As of today, when the coach accesses their eligibility dashboard by clicking on their name under My Account, they will now see their 25-26 requirements:

The first thing that your coaches will notice is that the dashboard has been vastly improved for this upcoming school year:

There is now only one column of requirements: The top section, under Eligibility Details, there are currently three requirements (the fourth will appear as 25-26 Rules Clinics is posted). So, as the description says, they must “Complete All of the Following”

A few reminders about the CPR/EAP dates. The CPR date will be green as long as it expires after the sports’ postseason. The EAP Date will be green if it takes place prior to the first day of practice for that sport.

Then, the bottom section of Eligibility Details contains sport safety information. Note that this requirement is listed as “Complete 1 of the Following.”

Since it is a two-year certification period, there will be instances where veteran Coaches completed the clinic in the 2023-24 or 24-25 school years. In the example below, the coach completed the sport safety on 6/6/2025, so they are good through 6/5/2027.

If the coach has no completion in 2023-2024 or 2024-2025, they click the link to “Take Online Clinic” in the KMA/KHSAA Sport Safety 2025-2026 row.

New for this year – the sport safety course is essentially a “playlist” of the 8 mogules. They click on the link, fill out the guestbook, and the first module will start. At the end of the module (and every other module), two orange boxes will appear to GO on to the next module (without them having to return to their eligibility dashboard):

They will still get a certificate emailed to them at the end of each module.

Attached to this email, you will find the first slide of the sport safety explaining important information.

Now, for Admins:

Like the coaches’ eligibility dashboard, your monitor eligibility page has been streamlined. I am using Cooper as an example, as Coach Borchers has new Football coaches entered on his 2025-26 Football Roster:

Now, when Mr. Borchers selects Brian Daniele, you see a simplified view – very similar to what the coaches see:

So as soon as Mr. Borchers enters Coach Daniele’s EAP rehearsal for Fall ’25, Coach will have his Football Badge and will be good on all requirements.

Note that CPR Certification carries over from the previous school year and will be valid as long as it expires after the KHSAA postseason.

I think that is it for now. A few final reminders about upcoming maintenance:

  • Around 7/1, your current coaches will be moved to the 25-26 roster, thus “enrolling” them into this 25-26 eligibility, and you can then update their EAP rehearsal dates as they happen
  • Also at that time, we will copy your varsity player rosters from 24-25 to 26-26. Removing any graduating seniors. Class years will update automatically for the remaining athletes. Your JV / Freshman rosters will be created, but there will be no athletes populated on those (similar to our legacy system).
