The KHSAA State Swimming & Diving Championships presented by UK HealthCare are being held February 20-21 at the Lancaster Aquatics Center, University of Kentucky. Coaches should review the final information that is available for the State Finals Meet.

DIVING DETAILS

• Reminder to coaches/athletes that the final list of dives must be finalized no later than one (1) hour before the competition is to begin.
• Warmups will begin at 12:30 each day, followed by diving at 1:30.
• The 16 highest-scoring finishers from the preliminary state event will move on to the state finals and perform their six (6) dives
  again.
• The top 16 divers will have 30 minutes to turn in their final six dives, followed by a 25-minute warm-up. Diving finals will begin at approximately 4:30.
• Divers will be permitted to change dives, not dive order, for the finals, so long as all sheet requirements are met.
• As a reminder, points accumulated in the Diving Meets will accrue and carry forward to the Swimming State Meet team totals.

VOLUNTEER TIMERS

• We still need volunteer timers for both boys’ and girls’ prelims and finals. Coaches, please email Mr. Wayne Kraus (kraus@trinityrocks.com) if you have someone who could assist with this on Friday or Saturday.

TICKETS FOR SWIMMING FANS

• All fans must enter and exit through the admission gate.
• Due to limited space and to ensure fair access for all fans, tickets will not be sold in advance. All tickets must be purchased on-site.
• Tickets are $15 (all fees included).
• Thanks to the sponsorship of Kentucky Children’s Hospital, children ages 2 and under receive FREE admission.
• On-site purchases are credit/debit card only (no cash accepted).
• Re-entry is not permitted due to space limitations.
• Guests who leave the facility for any reason must purchase a new ticket to return.
  • Gates open daily at 9:30 AM ET for swim prelims.
  • Gates open daily at 1:00 PM ET for diving.
  • Gates open daily at 5:45 PM ET for swim finals.
• Preliminary, diving, and finals sessions for each gender are ticketed separately.
• The facility will be cleared between each session.

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth.
