REGIONAL INSTRUCTIONS/POSTSEASON UPDATES

  • Region Tournaments are scheduled for May 12-25.
  • A list of host/region managers can be found through the links below:
  • The region tournament instructions are available on the Tennis homepage at khsaa.org. All coaches and competing schools should take the time to read these items carefully, even veteran coaches, to ensure familiarity with all KHSAA rules and regulations regarding these events.
  • All entries should be submitted to the regional managers using the TN103 form through the following links:

UNIVERSAL TENNIS RATING (UTR)

  • UTR information shall be used to gather necessary initial information for seeding consideration.
  • Seeding shall be based on the All-Factors Method, considering each entrant’s chances of winning the tournament and shall consider all reasonably available information, including UTR, recent results, and particularly, head-to-head competition.

STATE TOURNAMENT

  • The KHSAA State Tennis Championships presented by UK HealthCare will take place May 30-June 1 at Top Seed Tennis Club and the UK Boone/Downing Tennis Complex.
  • On Tuesday, May 30 the Girls’ Tennis Tournament will be played at UK, with the Boys’ Tennis Tournament starting at Top Seed Tennis Club.
  • All matches on May 31 and June 1 will take place at Top Seed Tennis Club.
  • Tickets to the state tournament will be available for purchase in the coming days at https://gofan.co/app/school/KHSAA

About the Kentucky High School Athletic Association
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association was organized in 1917 and is the agency designated by the Kentucky Department of Education to manage high school athletics in the Commonwealth. The Association is a voluntary nonprofit 501(c)3 organization made up of 286 member schools both public and non-public. The KHSAA awards 215 state championships to 51 teams and 164 individuals in 13 sports and 6 sport-activities, funds catastrophic insurance coverage for its more than 106,000 rostered member school student-athletes, provides coaching education and sports safety programs for more than 12,000 coaches, and licenses and facilitates the distribution of training material for over 4,000 contest officials.
