Notes about Day 1 and Prep for 2
Thanks to all of you for day 1! Outstanding day.
Couple of notes.
You should have been copied on the text related to team arrival. There were minor issues yesterday and on the grand scheme of things VERY MINOR. Thanks to all who helped resolution.
Secondly, remember that this is the largest scale event we have used our now four-year old ticket system to manage. We knew there would be issues.
We ask that you continue to stay totally out of conversations about why and how. Our job during this event is to manage the event. If someone has why questions, direct them directly to the Commissioner. No one else please. Gate 4 and 9 did a great job of resolutions yesterday at the huts and will continue to do so. And Carson and Cathy’s help was great with those one or two (literally, one or two) real trouble spots. That’s why those people were […]

The home teams will use locker rooms 2 and 1 as scheduled.
The visiting teams (Paducah Tilghman, South Warren, and St. Xavier) will continue to unload at Gate 1 on the opposite side of the stadium, with individual entry at Gate 1.5. See the diagram at https://khsaa.org/football/2021/khsaateamspaces.pdf. The team will unload equipment at the large gate at 1, with individual team members in […]
