In order to continue to address the concerns of the University Fire Marshal for the 2016 Swimming and Diving State Championships, teams with ten or more swimmers (boys and girls combined) will be allowed to have three coaches on the deck of the pool. Any team with less than ten swimmers (boys and girls combined) will be allowed to have two. The required credential to be on the deck will be a wristband. There will be a different color wristband for each day and they will be in the team packets for coaches to pick up during team check-in. This wristband must be worn at all times and visible by coaches who are on the deck. If the number of certified coaches that accompanies any team exceeds the number of coaches allowed on deck these additional coaches can gain admission at team check-in with a different color wristband but will be required to sit in the stands.

Diving coaches who arrive at the Natatorium prior to the entire team on Thursday are authorized to pick up team packets, but they will need to coordinate with the head coach a plan for getting the additional wristbands to the rest of the coaching staff to allow them on deck during swimming warm ups.
