Reminder about 2023 Sponsor and Sweet 16® Club Reception on Friday
Please accept our invitation to join the Association Board, Staff, Sweet 16 Club, Corporate Sponsors and event workers for breakfast/brunch Friday, March 17th from 8 to 10 a.m. in Club B (Second Floor of Rupp Arena).
Entrance can be made to the building in several ways –
Those staying at the Hilton may enter the arena using the first entrance at the corner of the new glass area next to the CatWalk steps, and staff will direct you to the elevators and escalator;
Those coming from the Hyatt should enter via the Media pass gate at the end of the arena furthest from the Hyatt on High Street directly across from Parking Lot Entrance #2.
Those parked in Second Level Garage can come in through the entrance on that level.
After breakfast/brunch, you will need to go back outside of admission control to have your game ticket scanned and receive your wristband for those […]

SWEET 16® CLUB SEATING AREA NOTICE
Welcome to the UK HealthCare Boys’ Sweet 16®
As a ticket holder in Sections 12-16, Rows AAA, AA, BB, CC and DD, you need the following important information regarding the club seating area.
WRISTBANDS
- As you arrive for each session, no matter what entrance you use, each individual ticket holder will need to go to a check-in table to retrieve your wristband each session.
- For your convenience, the wristbands are available at three locations – a table behind Section 11, the 2nd-level garage entrance outside Club D and a table near the media check-in near the club elevator at the High Street pass entrance.
- Wristbands will be a different color each session and each ticket holder will need to check in each session to get the wristband.

SWEET 16® CLUB SEATING AREA NOTICE
Welcome to the Mingua Beef Jerky Girls’ Sweet 16®
As a ticket holder in Sections 12-16, Rows AAA, AA, BB, CC and DD, you need the following important information regarding the club seating.
- As you arrive for each session, no matter what entrance you use, go to the table behind section 11 to get an armband.
- Armbands will be a different color each session.
- This armband will get you access to Club D for hospitality between games of each session.
- This room is solely for ticket holders in the double-letter sections on one side of the arena and not for patrons holding other seats.
- The room is scheduled to be open at approximately 12:30 p.m. (between games) for the afternoon sessions and 7:30 p.m. (between games) for the evening sessions; and then at halftime of the final game.

BOARD OF CONTROL BALLOT – BOARD OF CONTROL ELECTIONS – INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BALLOT:
- Balloting is ONLY done online for these positions.
- All schools from Basketball Regions 3 and 4, as well as regions 9 to 16 have at least one election in which to ballot. Other schools may disregard this notice if received.
- Balloting was available per the Constitution on or before February 15.
- Only the Principal or Designated Representative may vote. The names on file as verified by the KHSAA website at the time of this ballot distribution are listed on the school directory page at http://khsaa.org/general/resources/member-school-directory/.
- If the wrong individual is listed as the Designated Representative, the correction may be made by anyone with Athletic Director system rights (Principal, AD) prior to the ballot being submitted. Changes in Basic Spot for Penalty Enforcement Headline 2023 High School Football Rules Changes
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (February 2, 2023) – A notable change to Rule 10 of the NFHS Football Rules Book will eliminate the excessive penalty enforcements for offensive fouls that occur behind the line of scrimmage in high school football.
This change in Rule 10-4 (Basic Spots) is one of seven revisions recommended by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Football Rules Committee at its January 8-10 meeting in Indianapolis. All changes were subsequently approved by the NFHS Board of Directors for the 2023 high school football season.
